Wellington, June 14.—Parltutu, 11.5 a.m., for Neiv Plymouth. Wellington, June 15— Samar, schooner, 9.26 a.m., for Levuka and San Francisco THE POHERUA. The Poherua, which left here for Greymouth on Friday, comes back with coal, being dua about Wednesday. THE CORDJNA. The Corinna goes to Dunedln and comes north via the usual ports, Wellington probably being omitted. The vessel should arrive here at tha end of this week. THE BADEN POWELL. The Baden Powell leaves Wellington for New Plymouth on Tuesday, and returns from here on Wednesday night. THE PABITUTU. The New Plymouth Harbor Board's dredge Parltutu, which has been undergoing overhaul at Wellington, left that port at 11 o'clock on Saturday morning, and arrived at New Plymouth at 3.30 yesterday afternoon. THE ALEXANDER. The Alexander is due at 10 a.m. to-day from Tarakohe, with a cargo of cement THE KIA QRA, As the bad weather at Wanganui continued to prevent the liner Kla Ora from completing her loading In the roadstead the vessel was ordered on to Wellington, where she was due on Friday morning. The Kla Ora will complete loading at Wellington, and will sail on Wednesday for London, via Panama. DEPARTURE OF MOERAKI.

Auckland, June 14. After having been detained here two weeks the Niagara's through passengers left for Sydney at midnight on the Moeraki, which had secured a crew by offering special inducements to Australian seamen to rejoin the vessel after they had been discharged. It was found Impossible to secure a complete New Zealand crew. UNION COMPANY'S BOATS. Dunedln, June 14. The U.S.S. Co.'s new cargo steamer Wairuna leaves Antofagasta at the end of June for San Francisco, where she loads for Auckland, Melbourne and Sydney. The Manuka expects to leave Sydney to-day for Auckland, returning to Sydney from that port. The Moeraki leaves Sydney about June 19 for Wellington. THE CUNARD WAR RECORD. The following is taken from an account of the Cunard's war record, published In the Shipping World:—"At the outbreak of war the Cunard fleet consisted of 26 sea-goiag steamers, with a tonnage of fome 330,000. Of these ships 15 were lost, all, with two exceptions, by enemy action. Of ships acquired subsequently eight were lost. They comprised 56 per cent of the fleet's total tonnage. in addition, seven of the Bhips chartered by the company were lost, making a total of 32. ~i this way 650 seamen laid down their lives in the national cause. Cunar:> liners served as armed cruisers, transports, hospital snips, and carried men, munitions, and food to and from all parts of the world, steaming 3,500,000 miles. They transported just under a million tons of foodstuffs and cargoes, and 100,000 tons -.f fuel oil for the Navy wero carried in their double bottoms. In addition, the company during the last two years undertook the ma:agement of nearly 400 ships other than the'r own. Nearly 500,000 American soldiers were brought to Europe by Cunard vessels, being 40 per cent of the total carried iu British shies from America."
