The future of tlie State farm at Moumahaki was mentioned to the DiiW-ec of Agriculture, Dr. Reakes, at Thursday's sitting of the Industries: Committee. Dr. Reakes said that at Moumahaki tlic department did not pretend to go in for breeding purebred stock to any great extent, but the policy there in the past had not been too clearly defined, and one of the points in the scheme of reorganisation dealt with the extent to sitich breeding should be carried on.
