The problems of the future will he numeroi;; and vexing If our only method of dealing with them is to exhaust our energies in factional political struggles, New Zealand is in a fair way to get a setback Unfortunately the government of the country has become so centralised that, instead of the electors holding the mastery of the politicians, they are becoming more and more fawning sychophants to the Ministry of the day.
