RIOTS AT MALTA.
TROOPS . CHARGE MOB. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received June 12, 8.5 p.m., London, June 10. General Sir H. 0. O. Plumer las b<'e» sworn in as Governor of Malta, where serious riots are reported, owing to the high food prices and unemployment. The troops charged the unarmed mob, using bayonets and firing several shots. The rioters destroyed the Malta Daily Chronicle's offices.
