Messrs-A. Laurenson, for IS yearn a member of the N.Z.R.U. Management Committee, G. It. Dixon, manager ■of the famous All Black tour, Dr. McEvedy, G. Fachc, and K Wylie, treasurer, all declined nomination to the Management Committee, as they held that the alterations to the rules meant severance for the N.Z.R.U. It does not mean this, however, as the amended rules will only be played in club matches and in interunion matches by agreement. In international matches the amended rules willnot be played. Practically a-new Management Committee had to be elected; and this includes G. W. (Joe) Slide, ,w<V'
