WHAKASANE' ETJBIHEK DELAYED.. The. agents for the New Zealand Snipping Company advise that the Whakatane has been delayed at Port Chalmers, and Is not expected to arrive: at New Plymouth before June 20. From Port Chalmers the vessel goes to Timaru, New Plymouth, Plcton and Wellington, and Is te sail at the. ends ot the. month for London,, via Panama. THE ARMAGH. The New Plymouth Shipping Company's linerArmagh is due off Waiters from Brisbane on Sunday, to commence Homeward loading. The .vessel proceeds to Wanganul roadstead and Wellington, and Is expected to sail about. July 6 for London via, Panama. PBINZESSJN REPORTED. The Prinzessin, with 500 troops on board, left Colon on May 14 In continuance of her voyage from tho United Kingdom. She is-dui to teach New Zealand on Junj 25 NOT DAMAGED BY GALE. Wellington, June 11. Although a south-westerly gale Is blowing, and a heavy sea running, at farewell Spit the stranded steamer Eowhai Is not suffering. The tug Terawhiti is sheltering at Tataranul, and as soon as the weather moderates will probably attempt to tow the Eowhai off.

Bad weather on both coasts delayed the loading operations of two Shaw-Sorill boats on Monday. The Raranga, which is at Glsborne. will not now leave that port for Wellington till next Friday.
