Lieut. A. Jennings, son of Mr. W. T. Jennings, M.P. for Taumarunui, is returning to New Zealand by the Prinzessin, due about June 25 Major J. B. Among promotions and tnnsfers in th-i Post and Telegraph Department just announced are tho following- Mr. S. Ayling, district accountant at Thames, to be district accountant at New Plymouth. Mr. li. R. do Bean, postmas'er at Lower Hutt, to bo relieving postmaster. Wellington; Mr. F. Scully, district accountant at New Plymouth, 'o be postmaster at Auckland South Central Mr. Scully has been in Now P'ymouth for a number of years, and proved a very efficient and obliging officer. The many friends he has made here will be glad to learn oi ; his advancement.
