DETERMINED SUICIDE.

JBy Telegraph.—Press Association, v Opotiki, June 10.

At the inquest on the death of John Clark, jeweller, police evidenco stated that Clark was under surveillance in connection with the fire at Opotiki on June 3. The coroner's verdict was that deceased came to his end by blowing his head off with some high explosive, possibly a detonator, while in a state of mental depression.
