The Daily News' Dublin correspondent says that the Dublin Government is seriously preoccupied with the growth of the ■union of police and prison officials, including among the members upwards, of a thousand Royal IrUti and the Irißh section of the union demands pay and conditions of service equal to those in England, also disarmament and demilitarisation of the constabulary.
