Copy of letter tent to IheirManagw, Farmers' Milking Machine Co., AUCKLAND. Written hy D. J. Fitzgerald, of Pukenui Dairy, TE KUITI. Dear Sir#—A few days ago I promised your Mr. Le Grice I would write and let ypu know my opinion of your two-cow plants installed here last season. : la asery-respect it,has> proved itael£ all you represented it to be. , When I took over the management of this dairy I must admit that I felt rather doubtful of its merits, but I can assure you after giving it a fair trial in every way, its mechanical operation and sanitary effects, I could not possibly wish for better results, as many satisfied users of our milk can testify. I am quite prepared to demonstrate publicly that I can produce ' milk for any town supply, to saiy the least, equal to the very best hand produced* and far better than the bulk generally supplied in that way for town delivery. To be candid with you I must tell you tha-t when I filled the position of Dairy Instructor and Inspector for the Eaipara Dairy Co. a few years ago, I was rather prejudiced against your machines, probably on account of careless users in the main, and on your part any mechanical defects that then existed feave been entirely remedied. I have had very considerable practical experience with all up-to-date Milking Machines, onrt X wmgffimtlflngly say that it is now in every respect just what the dairy farmers want —thoroughly reliable, simple i in construction, and cheap. Even at the same price as others I still say for reasons above stated, It. is the best machine. And 10 far from being an insanitary machine as some interested agents are in the habit of saying I must emphatically declare that ii baa. greater merit* in 'that respect than any other I have y«t seen.
