WOOLLENS IN ENGLAND.

During the discussion of Mr. McCall'* paper at the Society of Arts, Sir Thomas Mackenzie condemned tho exploitation of woollen goods in Britain, where the price of these goods was fourfold their pre-war price, whereas! New Zealand WM only charging fifty-five per cent. over, pre-war price for wool. Sir T. pointed out that America wag Bcllisjrtweeds at 3s a yard under the English' prise, though American manufacturer! paid much more than the English for wool.
