With his.' son-again in pood health, and having had a rest himself, Mr Wrisht will probably motee another effort. He has given his son old Honeycomb, and this fine cow ' 3a in calf to Acorn. Mr Wright has only kept himself three small calves. He intends to visit his native district, K.S.W., and if the embargo on importation of cattle from the Commonwealth

is removed he will hare the assistance ,of his old friends, Mr J. E. Noble, and Mr H. Dudgeon, in 'getting something 'good. Lovely H, which has just put op a great performance, should be a guide to Mr Dudgeon's capacity as a breeder. Joyce H, her dam, is by ' Gentle Prince, which '« also the sire of Lovely II and Fussy 3rd. This latter cow, which gave 801b Soz. of milk a day, and 251b of fat in a week under semi-official test, and an average of 21 lb of butter a week for six months, is full sister to Joyce Ist.
