COURT OF APPEAL DECISION REVERSED. i London, .June 8. The House of Lords has decided that bequests for masses for the dead are legal, reversing the judgment of the Court of Appeal. DORMANT BANK BALANCES. Received June 4, 11.5 p.m. London, May 23. The House of Commons carried the second reading of the Dormant Bank Balances Bill, introduced by Mr. Horatio Bottomley, the object being to secure for the State unclaimed moneys in the hands of banks.' and companies, estimated to . amount to at least £100,000,000.
