INCREASING IN AUSTRALIA. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received June 4, 11.25 p.m. Brisbane, June 4. Influenza continues to increase its hold both in city and country districts. Up to Monday 65f>5 cases were reported in the metropolitan area and 2113 in the coiintry. Since Saturday there were over forty deaths, including nine in the country.

_ Sydney, June 4, Th© influenza position is again leas reassuring. There were over a hundred new cases and seven deaths in the metropolitan area to-day. In several of the country centres the epidemic shows an increasing tendency. Precautions are being re-adopted in the country districts against the spread of the disease.
