ARRIVED. Auckland, June 4.—Western Comet, 2.30, from New York. SAILED. , Auckland, June 4.—Wanoka, for Newcastle, at 12 35 p.m. THE KARAMU. The above steamer Is due here from Wellington to-morrow morning. THE POHERUA. Information has been received that the Poherua has been detained at Lyttelton, and will probably not reach this port before Sunday. THE ALEXANDER. The Alexander is due at New Plymouth on Saturday next with a full load of coal from Westport. THE KAHIKA. The. Kahika had not left Onehunga up to yesterday afternoon, and is not expected until Friday morning. After discharging coal she *s to take away 9700 crates of cheese to Wellington for transhipment to the Home liner Bemuera. . THE COBINNA. The Corinna is taking a very large cargo from' this port, her shipment comprising 12,000 crates of cheese, for transhipment to the Kia Ora at Wellington. She should leave for the southern port this afternoon. THE BADEN POWELL. The Baden Powell is not expected to leave Wellington until Saturday for New Plymouth, and should arrive here on Sunday. THE NIAGARA. It is understood that the steamer Niagara will not proceed to Sydney owing to the shipping strike, but will remain at Auckland until June 10, when she will return to Vancouver. The steamer Moeraki, which has been waiting at Auckland for some time, will take the Niagara's, passengers to Sydney, and will probably sail on Wednesday. MISHAP TO THE KAPUNI. The steamer Kapuni, 188 tons, came in contact with the breakwater while leaving Patea, and put into Wanganul on Monday, leaking badly. Temporary repairs were made there' to enable the vessel to proceed to Wellington. The Kapuni was carrying cheese for the Raranga, and this was transhipped to the Hawera at Wanganul.
