The Tukapa Club have withdrawn all previous nominations, and have now entered a first and second junior team in the Thursday competition, and will probably enter a second junior team in the Saturday competition. Originally they entered a senior team in each of the Thursday and Saturday competitions and a first junior Thursday team. The inauguration of the Old Boys' Club, and the fact that a number of players on whom Tukapa were relying are now going to play for Star Club makes it impossible for Tukapa to raise a senior team. This is to be regretted in view of the splendid traditions attached to the club. STRATFORD. . The withdrawal of Tukapa anfl Clifton from Thursday football has left Stratford the only team in the Thursday senior competition, and as this club finds it impossible to enjer a team on Saturday a suggestion has been made that the club should enter two additional junior teams in the Thursday competition and evenly distribute the members of the proposed senior team among them.
