NEW PLYMOUTH BOROUGH COUNCIL.
The following matters were dealt with at Monday night's meeting of the General Purposes Committee of the New Plymouth Borough Council:— VOGELTOWN STREETS. M. 0. Butcher wrote asking what tho council intended to do in regard to the forming and metalling of the roadway in Ballance Street while tlif! teams were working there. He understood the funds to do the work were allotted in the £42,000 loan raised some time ago. When a blind street such as Norman Street was done, surely something could be done to Ballance Street.
