The directors of the International Mercantile Marine Company have approved the proposed sale of the company's,l English tonnage to a British syndicate. The board decided to call a special meeting of shareholders on June 16 to act on the offer. The sale will include 85 ships of 85,300 tons, including the. Olympic, Adriatic, Baltic, 44 large Leyland line freighters and all the other assets of the six British subsidiaries. The price is aproximately 130 million dollars.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
