Short burry and scoured locks and irregular "Calatea" New Zealand clip made up to 32% d, and averaged 30d. The Bradford tops market was extremely strong, with great inquiry for merinos and fine crossbreds. Wheat—Quiet Small sales of Australian on passage at 80s. Flour—Quiet and unchanged. Oats—La Platas on spot 60s to 62s Beans and peas are steadily held. Sugar—Granulated 79s od. Cheese is becoming plentiful. May distribution was 83 per cent, of the trade's requirements. Canadian is quoted at 169s cii. Butter—Supplies are increasing, but the ration is unaltered.
