By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Anti-cyclonic conditions have ruled, fair weather prevailing, with very cold nights. Tho wind has been light, and strong easterly has been experienced in the far north. Present indications are for easterly winds, strong to gale, northwards of Kawlila and East Cape, and variable winds, with moderate to strong easterlies to nortlierlles prevailing elsewhere. The weather fair to cloudy goncrall7, but unsettled with rain in most districts. The barometer has a falling tendency, and the conditions are somewhat threatening in the northeastward.
