BRITISH REPULSE ATTACKS. SITUATION SATISFACTORY. fiy Telegraph.—Press Aasn.—Copyright. Received June 1, 5.5 p.m. London, May 31. ' Official: The British repulsed Afghan attacks at l''ort Thai. The Afghans occupied and looted a bazaar outside the fort. Aeroplanes in reconuaisa'Jco located 3000 of the enemy near Thai and bombed their camps with good effect. We captured the Afghani fort at ISolda,k, opposite Chiman, in Baluchistan, taking prisoner 109 and killing- 320. The stuation is satisfactory from Khyber northwards. —Aus. N.Z. Caible Assoc. AFGHANS CONCENTRATING. BRITISH FORCES AT KHYBER. e Received June 1, 5.5 p.m. London, May 30. Official: Three Afghan regiments, with considerable war material, have arrived at Bakdak. Two regiments have arrived at Peimarkotal and occupied the spurs within the British limits. Three regiments have arrived at Alikbel. British concentrations continue at Khyber.—Aus. N.Z. Cable Assoc.
