SMART ROAD FREEZING WORKS.

PRODUCE SHIPPED BY E3A ORA. One of the largest consignments of frozen produce that has left the Taranaki Farmers' Meat Freezing Works at Smart Road was taken by the liner Kia Ora, which leit New Plymouth yesterday. The cargo was as f0110w5:—2945 freight carcases of lamb; 4195 freight carcases nrotton; 3764 quarters beef; 304 casks tallow; 10 casks pelts; 1200 cases preserved meats; 444 boxes: tripe; 103 boxes ox kidneys, 44 crates sheep kidneys, 04 boxes ox hides; 101 bodies frozen veal. The visit of the liner was opportune, as it was probable that otherwise killing •would have had to cease. The expected arrival of the WhaJcatane in about a fortnight will still further eape the congestion in the storage cKhnbers, space on the vessel having been allotted for ebont 14,000 freight carcases and probably a qoantity of tallow.
