In tlie Supreme Court, in bankruptcy, an application for immediate discharge i» the case qf Edmund Peter Gill was opposed by counsel appearing for a Kaikoura creditor. Counsel said that bankrupt luul posed as a sliarebroker, and his dobts were £IISO and liia assets nil This was the second bankruptcy of petitioner. Mr. Justice Herdman said the circumstances wore suspicious, and av. rejournment would be made till the next sittings in August, the Official Assignee to make further investigation and supply his Honor with a supplementary report of Bucb investigation.
