WEDDING.

A wedding of interest to Midhirst and Stratford people was celebrated at the Catholic Church, Stratford, on Wednesday, when Mr. Newton Roy Hamblyn, second son of Mr. and, Mjrsl W. *T. Hamblyn, of Midhirtt, was united in the bonds of holy matrimony to Mrs. Mosley, of Wellington. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Father Maples. Miss ft. Fischer, of Midhirst, was bridesmaid, and Mr. Reg. Hamblyn, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. The bride was gowned in a grey crepe-de-chine with hat to match, and the bridesmaid wore a wino gabardine cottume with hat to match. After the cerenxony the wedding breakfast was partaken of at Smith's Rooms, Broadway, where thcTe was a large gathering of relatives and friends of the happy couple, and the usual toasts were honored. Mr. and Mrs. Hamblyn went south per motor, en route for Wellington, where the honeymoon will be spent. The bride's travelling drcsw was a blue costume with hat to imatch. —Post.
