PEDIGREE JERSEY SALE. The Farmers' Co-operative Organisation Society of New Zealand held a clearing sale on Thursday, on account of Mr. W H. Pawsoa. There was a fair attendance of buyers, chiefly from the district round about Mangatoltl. The sale was a very good one, the 33 grade dairy cows averaging £l7 12s Cd. Following are the details of the pedigree Btock sold: COWS AND HEIFERS. Hollybank Caraella—Mr. A. L. Hooper, Mahoe; 33% guineas. Hollybank Mermaid—Mr. K. I. Linn, Normanby; 41 guineas. Lady Smith—Mr. Robert Dagg, Kaponga; 31 guineas. Kitty Gray—Mr. J. Stewart Kaponga; IS guineas. Her Ladyship's Record—Mr. D. L. A. Astbury, Mungatoki; 29 guineas. Record Blossom—Mr. J. Meull, Normality; 36 guineas. Neat Fortune—Mr. B, I. Linn, 54 guineas. Lady Niiey—Mr. D. L. A. Astbury; 40 gulaeas. Melba of O.K.—Mr. J. T. Humphries, Kaponga ; 40 guineas. Hill Kowhal—Mr. R. ,T, Linn; 27 guineas, Perdita —Mr. A. L. Hooper; 40 guineas. Hermlone—Mr. A. L. Hooper; 40% guineas. BULLS. Victor of O.K.—Mr. W. Mortlock, Normanby; 28 guineas. Ferndale Major—Mrs. A. Bailey, Mahoe; 22 guineas. One wenner pedigree bull was sold for 2ft guineas, and a weaner pedigree heifer for 8 guineas, both being purchased by Mr; D. L. A. Astbury.

I THE FEATHERSTON ESTATE. Tho Wanganul Chronicle reports that tliera was a largo attendance at the Fire Brigade Hall jon Wednesday afternoon, when Mr. Guy Cooper, acting for the New Zealand Load and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, submitted the subdivided blocks of the well-known Featherstori Estate, a. few miles from Wanganui, to auction. The homestead block of 140 acres was the first submitted, and after brisk bidding the right or ownership passed to Mr. W. A. Bason-at £B3 per acre. The other fire farms, ranging in area from .11 to ti2 acres, failed to reach the reserves, and were passed in respectively, at £45, £47 10s, £43, £54 and £57. Tho Chronicle understands that after the auction considerably increased prices were ofTered for several of the sections.

MOORE HUNTER ESTATE. The Farmers' Co-operative Organisation Society of New Zealand (Hawera) held a sale of Southdown sheep and Shorthorn cattle- on account of the trustees in the Moore Hunter Estate,'at the Hawera yards, yesterday. The attendance was. fair, and those present were mainly Interested In the sheep sale. All the sheep offered found purchasers, hut every lot of cattle had to be passed, the bids falling well short of reserves. The following sales of sheep were made: " Ewes.—s one-shear, to G. S.
