lAPAN FRIENDLY TO CHINA. New York, May 10. The Washington correspondent of the New York Times interviewed Count Ishii, who reviewed Japan's dealings with China. In reference to Kiaochou, Count Ishii pointed out that Japan had goodwill towards China, and said that by the treaty of 1015 China recovered her entire territorial sovereignty over Kiaochau, and, by the accord of 191S, China acquired tlie right, to participate in the administration of the former German railway from ICiaochau to Tainan. Count Ishii added that there is no conflict of interests between Japan and the :'United States.—Aus. N.Z. Cable Absoc.
