THEPEOPLE'E ' A GREAT MYSTERY PLAT.' "THE KAISER'S SHADOW." ' Mow and again a really great mystery play happens along. In the whole history of the screen it is said that no greater secret service or detectivo play has quite equalled "The Kaiser's Shadow" for thrills, suspense and sustained interest. This production offers a series of thrills, and surprises seldom equalled Incumber and intensity in the history of screen productions. The element of mystery dominates the, .story from the first to the last reel, and the star, Dorothy Dalton, is involved in adventures that fairly throb with suspense, a role that offers her wonderful opportunities in the interpretation. The programme includes the latest Mack Sennett comedy "Her Blighted Love," the latest American gazette and Bray Pictograph. "THE WOMAN GOD FORGOT." The special raper-attraction "The Woman Got Forgot," starring Genaldine Farrar, will run at the People's next Tuesday and Wednesday, 3rd and 4th June. Wallace Reid supports the fa- , mous prima donna in this, her latest [ super-film.
EVERYBODY'S. "ALIAS MARY BROWN" AND "THE HOtJSE OF HATE." An exciting and luminal plot characterises the Triangle play "Alias Mary Brown," which is showing to-night and to-morrow at Everybody's. Pauline Stark takes the leading part with Casson Furguesson a cloce second, and the love interest in which these two delightful screen celebrities take the lead is very pleasing. The story tells of a young man whote father's death occurs and leaves him penniless owing to the unscrupulous action of three trustees. His mother' 3 death follows closely owing to the boy'y inability to raise nioney enough to save her. Embittered he sets out to be revenged upon the three men responsible for his poverty. His methods are original, and in the meantime he_rescues a charming girl from a scoundrel who hay misled her. The action is rapid and the interest increases throughout while the story ia excellently constructed. The supports include the fourth episode of the fascinating and thrilling serial drama, "The House of Hate."
