ENTERTAINMENTS.

EVERYBODY'S"THE SECRET OP THE STORM COUNTRY." Those who remember the fascinating screen-drama, "Tess of the Storm Country," will welcome the sequel "The Secret of the Storm Country," which was shown at Everybody's last night. This is a Select production with Norma Talmadge as the delightful little country girl "Tess." When the scene opens her father, through the efforts of the local lawyer, has just been released from prison in which he had been wrongly detained. Her happiness is further added to by her love for a young student who is home on holidays. But this happiness is short-lived. The student tells him that his mother insists that he should marry an influential young woman of his own set. Later Tess's father dies and she is left alone To increase her misery it is dicovered that she is to become a mother and she is hounded from the church, the young student remaining silent throughout and leaving her utterly deserted. The story is wonderfully appealing and ends on a note of happiness which is very unexpectedly achieved. Norma Talmadge plays her part to perfection, and the production is altogether a notable one. Intending patrons are reminded that to-night is the last screening occasion of this fine picture.

THE PEOPLE'S. LAST NIGHT OP HAYAKAWA. The great Jap. actor Hayakawa appears Anally to-night at the People's in the fine Paramount play, "The Bravest Way." It is a fine story 'illustrating the great value of true friendship. Florence Vidor again supports Hayakawa. The picture has proved very popular. On the same programme are a fine Bray Pictograph, Gazette, and "The Eagle's Eye." THE KAISER'S SHADOW. DOROTHY DALTON TO-MORROW. "The Kaiser's Shadow,'' to-morrow's new bill, is a Thos. II Ince super-produc-tion, featuring exquisite Dorothy Dalton. It is a sterling play, with a tremendous climax, a production of endless mystery and suspense. It is a most exciting story. There is a succession of thrill's and surprises, and it affords a distinctly new role for Miss Dalton, the charming screen artist.
