She was declared a clean ship and berthed at 11 o'clock. Disembarkation occupied 10 minutes. Only tho Auckland and Manawatu men left by the second express that day, and the Nelson men by the Nikau Another southern contingent will leave by the Mararoa to-day, and the Marlborough men by the Pateena also to-day. THE KAHXKA. The Kahika left the breakwater at 3.30 on Saturday afternoon for Westport, where she loads a full cargo of coal, a portion of wh'ch will be shipped to Kaipara and the balance landed here on the return trip. On the discharge of coal she will load cheeso for Wellington.
THE KAIAPOI. The Ivaiapol arrived here at 1 o'clock on Saturday afternoon from Wellington. She did not unload, but will commence this morning, and is expected to leave for Greymoutii tonight. THE KARU. Tlie Karu was to leave Wellington on Saturday night for New Plymouth, and should arrive to-day, bringing a general cargo, ! NEW SHIPPING COMBINE.
