PEDIGREE FRIESIANS.

CLIFFORD BEOS.' DISPERSAL Ssyi

At "Racelands," Lepperton, on Thursday, Mr. Newton King conduq|#d a clearing sale on account of Maters. Clifford. Bros., who have sold their property. The catalogue was only a small one—sot large enough to draw buyers from outside the province—and the short notice given of the sale was, no doubt, responsible for only a small attendance of Friesian breeders. The cows, from a breeder's point of view, were a very choice line, but two or three had some defects in their udders, and in two instances there was a doubt as to their being in calf. The young bulls and heifers were a fine line, the prices obtained for the former being in the buyers' favor. Following were the prices: COWS. Ruby (King Manor de Kol, i«_ r _ Topsy) 24 guineas; M.r R. B. Siittonj Pukearulie, Manor de Kol Lady (Kinp Manor de Kol—Tulip). 41 guineas; Mr. AV R Wheeler, Inglewood.
