FOR THE REMAINDER OF HIS LIFE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. William Montague Davenport Howes, aged 70 years, was found guilty of an unnatural offence in the Supreme Court, and sentenced to ten years' ment. Judge Stringer said it was his duty to segregate accused from decent human beings. He realised accused would .probablv -lie in gaol, hut he could appeal to the Prisons Board if he wished. He would have been entitled to send accused to gaol for life.
