GREEN ISLAND COLLIERY TROUBLE By Telegraph!— Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. At the suggestion of the New Zealand Cjial Mine Owners, the proprietors of the Green Island collieries have agreed to meet the miners in conference. The miners stood out for a conference all through the trouble. The conference Will probably be held on Tuesday next. MINERS' DEMANDS. Wellington, Last Night. Delegates of the New Zealand Miners' Federation met in Wellington recently, and they hare prepared demands for improved conditions of employment and increased pay.
