The steamer Perth arrived in the lower harbor at noon to-day, from Newcastle, and was ordered into quarantine by the health authorities. She Is expected to berth to-morrow. She has 177 bags Australian mails, which will be landed to-night. The North Island portion will be despatched at S a.m. on Friday. I THE KABU. The Kara arrived at Wellington from Lyttelton on Thursday, and was to leave for New Plymouth yesterday. I THE PARITDTO. The New Plymouth dredge ParKutu was placed on the Wellington patent slip on Wednesday for repairs, and will remain on the cradle for about a week.
