GOVERNMENT METAL STOCKS. Received May 21, 5.5 p.m. London, May 13. The Government, metal stocks are as follows:—Copper 5130 tons, spelter 33,909 tons, aluminium 11,542 tons, pig lead 109,012 tons, nickel 2587 tons, antimony 4401 tons. SHARES AND FINANCE. Received May 21, 5.5 p.m. London, "May 13 (delayed). Waihi Junction: Buyers 10s, sellers 12s Od. P. and O.: £417 10s. New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Co., Ltd;, has an interim dividend of 2J per cent. THE WOOL MARKET. There was a thinner attendance at the London wool spies, and prices remained unchanged. There were some irregularities and faulties. Prices realised included: —R and S over T 30d to 29Ad, Awarua 52d to 40d. The Bradford market is exceedingly firm. General quotations are higher all round, except for low crosshreds, the protection prices stopping actual business.
