FIRES.
EtBE AT OTAOTAU. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Invercargill, Last Night. A fire occurred at Otautau at one o'clock oii Sunday morning, completely destroying O'Brien's Crown Hotel, the Loan Company's offices and stores, and sample rooms rented by the licensee. The Bre began in the sample rooms, which had not been occupied for two days. Insurances: Hotel £1550, furniture £6OO, Stock £475; sample rooms, £600; Loan Compoqjtte. stock, £9OO.
