At a special meeting pf the Taranaki Land Board held at the District Lands and Survey Office, New Plymouth, there 'were present: Messrs Bnllard, Heslop, Cleland and Martin. The business completed i§ as follows: * APPLICATIONS FOR LAND. Section 4, block 3, Taurakawa S.D., 1355 acres, 0.K.P.; C. F. Amnion and John M'Bride.—Approved. APPLICATION FOR FEE SIMPLE. Section 0, block 5, Kapara S.D., U74 acres; Alexander Hunter.—Approved. TRANSfFERS AND 'SUB-LEASES. Section 3, block 7. Olmra S.D, lfi6 acres, and section 1, block fi. Oiuira S.D., 157 acres; A. J. Price to 1!. S. Owen,— Approved.
Section 39, block 2, Ngaire S.D., 62 acrts; A F. Cuff to John Bones. —Hefused, in the public iuterest. Section 98, block 10, Ngaire S.D., 115 acres; Alex Hunger to Alfred Cocker Resolved to rescind previous resolution and approve transfer subject to his disposing of liis other leasehold property. Part sections 536-539, and -part section 511, Town of New Plymouth; W. J. Chaney to R. H. George.—Approved, subject to revision of rentals.

Section 8, block 15, Upper Waitara S.D., non-residcnce.—Forfeited. CORRESPONDENCE AND MISCELLANEOUS C. Curtis, on behalf of G. O. Curtis (who is absent on active service), applied to surrender his miscellaneous lease of section 5, block 13, Oliura S.D., 79 acres, as at December 31, 1918.—Surrender accepted, if father has authority to act on son's behalf. It is proposed to terminate the miscellaneous tenancy of Section 7, block 1, Pouatu S.D.. and allot the section to the holders of sections 10, block 13, and 13, block 14, Waro S.D. —Deferred for ranger's report. It is proposed to rescind the Land Board's resolution of January 22 approving Sam Smith's application for a portion of section 10, block 14, Aria S.D.—Resolved to rescind resolutionThe holder of section 60, Croydon Settlement. 82 acres, makes application, to surrender his lease owing to illhealth.—Recommended that surrender be accepted Mr J. P B- Jacobs, lessee of section (1. block 11, Mahoe S.D.. 712 acres, applies, under Section 15 of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1015. for a re-valuation |of his holding.—(Recommended for revaluation.
