FLAX-MILLING INDUSTRY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Palmerston N., May 19. The Flaxmill Owners' Association have given notice to the secretary of the Employees' Union that it is their intention to cancel the agreement under which they have been working and which provides for a minimum wage of 14s per day. The union will hold a meeting on Saturday next to consider the situation which has arisen. DESPERATE STRIKERS. Brisbane, May 19.
