For Australia Taylor scored 66, Gregory 44, Murray 34, and .Wills 67. ESSEX v. AUSTRALIA. London, May 17. In the match Essex v. Australia, the former batted first, and were dismissed for a total of £169. At the close of the day's play Australia had lost three wickets for 184 runs, Taylor 78.
