The valuation of Otago and Southland wool clip has practically been completed. The quantity valued is 92,116 bales, against 95,909 bales last season. About , ; 5000 bales have been shipped to the Imperial Government. The quality of the clip is comparatively good, considering the severity of the winter And the ■ > spring. Clients prefer holding on to quitting at present ruling rates. Our next sale in these yards will be held on 30th inst. ■ We sold the stock yarded at the following prices: In-calf heifers £7, £8; 2fl- •; months to 2-year steers. £5 3s 6d; mix- « !d weaners 24s 6d;' f.fjn. ewes, in forward condition, 20s; lambs, medium 10s 6d, woolly 13s.
