The Australian cricketers opened the tour with a match at Attleborough, in Norfolk, against Lionel Robinson's powerful eleven, including J. R. Mason, Douglas Pegler, Hardinge, and Woolley. Australia, in their first innings, scored 227—Collins 87, Taylor 30, Lampard 30. Robinson's eleven have lost eight wickets for 362.—Aus. N.Z. Cable Assoc.
