FINNS READY. ONLY AWAITING WORD FROM ALLIES. Received May 15, 11.35 p.m. Paria, May 15. There is a growing feeling ;n Government circles in favor of joint operations with the Finns against Petrograd. A Finnish communiquo indicates that the Finns are in readiness to advance, merely awaiting Allied approval The British attitude is arousing inter-" est, particularly in view of Mr. Bonar Law's statement, cabled on the thirteenth, which is regarded as implying that bolder steps to help Russia are imminent Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assoc. AGREEMENT WITH KOLCHAK. STABLE GOVERNMENT POSSIBLE SOON. Received May 15, 11.35 p.m. Lo don, May 15. The Daily Herald states that a wellinformed correspondent says he has the best reasons for believing that a definite agreement has been signed between the Allies and General IColchak, and that the fall of Petrograd will take place within a month. The Allies will then officially acknowledge General Kolchak as the head of the Russian Government, and afford him the necessary financial and military support.
