Major W. J. Glenn, M.C., a member of the 1905 All Blacks football team, is. a passenger by the Arawa, which arrived at Lyttelton on Wednesday. Mrs. Qlann accompanies him. '

Dr. Simmonds, of Patea, is expected to reach New Zealand in a few days by tiia Pakeha.

Mrs. Cowan Thomason, Egmont Village, has received advice that her husband is expected to arrive in Wellington on the Pakeha about May 24. Lieut.-Colonel Cossgrove, Chief Scout, Christchurch, and Commissioner Campbell, of Wanganui, have been attending the Scout exhibition at Ing Wood, and leave by the mail train this morning for Wanganui. Mr. W. Harvey, of Leach Street, has been notified that his son, Private W W. R. Harvey, of the 27th Reinforcements, is arriving by the Pakeha, due in Wellington on May 27.

The many friends of Lieut. Hayward, who left as a private with the Main Body, will be plesaed to hear that he returned to New Zealand on the fiemuera, and is at present in New Plymouth. Mr. W. Jennings, M.P., has received advice that his son, Lieutenant Alfred •Tenninga, M.C., R.A.P., left" England for New Zealand on Wednesday. Lieutenant Jennings left New Zealand with the Main Body, and has seen a considerable amount of active service.

Mr H. Young, Tarurutnngi, has received advice that his son, Corporal R. B. loung, who enlisted with the 26th Reinforcements, arrives in Wellington on or about May 27, on Ihe Pakeha.

The death occurred at Wanganul on Wednesday of Mr. John Annabell, senr, after a short illness, at the advanced ago of 73 years.
