(2) galvanised. bath 20 inches for washing-up purposes, (3) enamel ewers—l for every 25 scholars. Where tables are required tables and trestles will be supplied to school committees at cost. The board/will make giants for the purpose of supplying; cocoa, sugar, etc., at the rate of Id"per child per week for twenty weeks per annum. Committees to be responsible ior the upkeep and renewal of the apparatus. Children are expected, to find their own cups and saucers. In response to the board's circular, applications were received for subsidy, etc., from Motunui, Tatu, Tariki, Tututawa, Pohokura, Ararata, Mimi, Stanley Road, Albert, Okoke, Mangatoki, Oaonni, Whakamara, Norfolk, Pembroke, Rowan, Warau, Waiongona, Tataraimaka, Ihaia, Ackland, Tokaora, Hapurua, Opunake, Huiroa, and Strat« i»rd.
