NATIONAL SHIPBUILDING PROPOSAL. Received May 13, bS pjn. London, May 12. The Federation of Engineering and Shipbuilding Trades, representing over twenty trade unions, is considering the Government's offer to lease the national shipyards at Chepstow, Berehley, and Portbury, with the option, of acquiring the yards outright when desired.
