EVERYBODY'S. "THE WHIRLPOOL,'. An unusual love interest is the chief characteristic of the latest Select feature in which Alice Brady is the star player. It is entitled "The Whirlpool," and is showing at Everybody's to-night and tomorrow. The story deals with the struggles of a young girl brought up amid temptations of a gambling house conducted by her uncle. Although her soul revolts at the task, she acts as a decoy. One of the habitues of the house is accused of murder, and, as he has been the girl's lover, she Bets out to find evidence to flee him, but in so doing she encounters the judge who is to try the accused. In the end a genuine love attachment grows up between the judge and herself, and they get married. It is then that the. judge learns of the girl's past, and lie believes she has married him in order to influence his decision in favor of tiie man who had been her lover of the gambling house. The dramatic situations are strikingly strong, and the emotional part of the heroine is played by Alice Brady with fine effect. The dressings and settings are sumptuous-
