BREAKS OUT IN QUEENSLAND. PROBABLY EXTEND TO WHOLE OF AUSTRALIA. Keceived May 10, 5.5 p.m. .Brisbane, May 10. The influenza trouble lias brought the shipping trouble which lias been brewing for some time to a head. At the time of the New Zealand visitation the crews manning the vessels trading to infected ports were granted special rates. Owing to the shipping companies refusing to concede these rates, the Queensland branch of the Federated Seamen's Union declared a strike on the whole Queensland coast. Appeals have been made for the support of the southern States.

It is feared here and in other States that the trouble will extend throughout Australia, as the unrest amongst the seamen is general. '
