THE NOTE OF SURRENDER. STRONGLY RESENTED. Received May 11, 5.5 p.m. Vienna, May 5. Bela Kun's note of surrender has provoked such a strong feeling against him, even in the workmen's circles, that he was nearly lynched at a meeting of the Workmen's and Soldiers' Council. Most of the people's commissioners have fled from Budapest, in fear that the mob would commit outrages. An airship is ready to carry o/f Bela Kim and his associates when the peril necessitates flight.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
