The World's Paris correspondent say.! the l-Jvif.ish delegates have oli'ered a plan for the disposition of Germany's, .merchant fleet, under which each Allied country shall retain the ships seized in its ports. Mr. Lloyd George, at the instigation of the British Dominions, now asks that the question should he reopened, because the British losses in merchantmen were greater than the number of German ships seized in all ports.—Aus.
