MESSAGE FROM THE KING. PRAISE FOR THE TROOPS. London, May 3. During the Dominions' inarch through London, Australia House and the New Zealand Agency were crammed with spectators. The King's message was handed to each soldier at the termination of the march. His Majesty expressed his unbounded admiration at their splendid feats of arms, and especially paid a tribute to the part played by the Canadians, Australians and New Zealanders in the breaking of the Hindenburg Line in 1918. He also mentioned the 'Canadians' participation in the battle of Ypres and Vimy Ridge, and that of the Australians and New Zealanders on Gallipoli and in the 1917 spring campaign ' in France. The message included a reference to the South Africans at Delville Wood, ] and the Newfoundland troops at Monchy <le Preux.
