POLES ABOUT TO ATTACK, , A GERMAN REPORT, Received May 2, 5.5 p.m, Berlin, May 1. Herr Erzberger sent a note to Marshall Foch complaining that the Poles contemplated an attack upon German Posen and are manning troops on the frontier. Herr Erzberger hints that Germany may be compelled to''take counter measures, also to rfefnee further facilities for transport of the Polish trops from the west. It is reported that the German Government is mobilising troops in northern Silesia.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. Government troops have begun the attack on Munich from all sides and a number of villages have been occupied. The Spartacißtß will be given a last opportunity to surrender. Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. The Red garrison at Afunich deserted the Soviet Government and issued a proclamation against the swelled-head agitators, urging the workers and soldiers to support the Socialist Government.
